About CEA Scholarships for Study Abroad Program
Campus Education Australia (CEA) offers scholarship opportunities designed to make study abroad more accessible to high school students pursuing transformative cultural exchange experiences. Each year, eight to ten scholarships are awarded across multiple program durations—4, 6, and 8-week programs, as well as 3, 5, and 10-month immersion programs—with two scholarships allocated per program type. As a scholarship applicant, you'll compete by submitting a compelling 500–750-word essay addressing prompts like why you wish to participate in a foreign cultural program, how you'll serve as an ambassador for your country, or what personal goals you hope to achieve abroad. The essay should be accompanied by four personal photos of yourself and your family, demonstrating your story through both words and images. Award winners receive AUD $250 toward program fees, which helps offset the cost of your study abroad experience. This scholarship is open to any high school student interested in experiencing cultural immersion in destinations including Australia, Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the USA. The application process requires you to first complete an online pre-registration form with your administration fee and indicate your interest in the scholarship by ticking the relevant box. You must then email your essay to admin@campus.com.au with a clear subject line specifying your program duration, along with your personal details, school information, and birth date. The scholarship judges evaluate entries on your ability to communicate clearly, craft a well-formulated narrative, and tell a creative, compelling story about your life and aspirations. CEA notifies winners two months before program start dates, and winners are announced on the CEA Facebook page. This scholarship represents an excellent opportunity for motivated students who want to gain international experience, develop cross-cultural skills, and create lasting memories while minimizing financial barriers to study abroad.
