Academically, you'll enroll in 4–5 courses per semester. Credits are awarded in ECTS (with 6 ECTS equaling 3 U.S. semester credits), and your UPO transcript will reflect ECTS credits. Spanish language placement is determined by an exam administered by UPO, and the program recommends taking a language course if you have fewer than one semester of college-level Spanish.
