About Hospitality Program Program

The INTERNeX Hospitality Program is designed for young, adventurous individuals who want to combine international travel with meaningful, paid work experience in one of the world's most dynamic industries. Rather than simply visiting a new country as a tourist, you'll immerse yourself in the local culture while earning an income in the hospitality sector — covering roles such as restaurant server, hotel staff, barista, and much more. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, this program places you in the heart of one of North America's most celebrated cities, known for its stunning natural landscapes, multicultural atmosphere, and thriving service industry.

Finding a paid job in a foreign country can be an overwhelming and confusing process, but INTERNeX takes the stress out of the equation. From the moment you commit to the program, the team begins supporting you with a personalized Skype call to understand your skills, expectations, and preferences. Upon arrival, you'll attend a structured orientation with the INTERNeX team, followed by a professional resume review and update, targeted job application preparation, and direct introductions to potential employers — culminating in organized job interviews tailored to your background and interests.

Throughout your entire stay, you'll have a dedicated supervisor at the INTERNeX Vancouver office available to answer questions, resolve challenges, and ensure your placement is the right fit for your goals. The support doesn't stop at professional matters — the team also helps you navigate practical life logistics such as tax returns, social insurance registration, and setting up a local bank account, making your transition to life in Canada as smooth as possible.

Beyond work, the program fosters a vibrant social community. You'll be invited to pub nights, weekend events, and group trips alongside other international participants, giving you a ready-made network of like-minded peers from around the world. A 24-hour emergency number ensures you're never left without support, no matter the time of day.

This program is best suited for individuals aged 18–35 who hold a valid work permit for Canada, are physically fit, and are committed to working a full season or longer. Travel insurance is also required before your placement begins. If you're looking to gain real-world hospitality experience, develop transferable professional skills, and make the most of your time in Canada, the INTERNeX Hospitality Program offers the structure, community, and hands-on support to make it happen.
