About California & the Grand Canyon Teen Tour Program
Experience an unforgettable 11-day road trip across California and the American Southwest, designed specifically for high school students seeking adventure, natural wonders, and iconic American destinations. This teen-focused program takes you from the glittering streets of Los Angeles through sunny San Diego, vibrant Las Vegas, and culminates at the breathtaking Grand Canyon and scenic Sedona—some of the most famous places in America.
Your journey begins in Los Angeles, where you'll tackle the second-largest city in the US without feeling overwhelmed. Stroll the Hollywood Walk of Fame, spot the iconic Hollywood sign from Griffith Observatory while watching the city lights at sunset, window shop in Beverly Hills at Rodeo Drive, and explore the vibrant Venice Beach and Abbot Kinney neighborhood. You'll enjoy the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica Pier and have the optional opportunity to visit Disneyland, a chance to check a major bucket-list item off your list.
In San Diego, you'll experience the laid-back SoCal lifestyle through beach culture and outdoor adventure. Take a surf lesson to catch waves in the Pacific, kayak through secret caves in La Jolla while spotting sea lions, explore the world-famous San Diego Zoo, wander through historic Balboa Park and the colorful Gaslamp neighborhood, and soak in beautiful sunsets with your new friends from around the world.
As your road trip continues, you'll stop in the vibrant city of Las Vegas to experience the famous Strip, including the dancing fountains at the Bellagio and the High Roller Ferris wheel, before catching an interactive dinner show at one of Vegas's top casinos. Then comes the highlight: the magnificent Grand Canyon National Park, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Marvel at the incredible sights stretching beyond the horizon and imagine how the Colorado River created this masterpiece over hundreds of thousands of years.
Your adventure concludes in Sedona, Arizona, a highly trafficked destination for outdoor enthusiasts. You'll hike the infamous Devil's Bridge trail, take an off-road jeep tour through rugged terrain in style, and explore the beautiful, culturally dense downtown Sedona. Throughout the program, you'll stay in centrally located, safe, well-supervised accommodations selected for quality and character rather than chain hotels. All breakfasts and dinners are included, with authentic local cuisine—fresh seafood influenced by Asian cuisine in California, and excellent Mexican food in the Southwest—fully accommodating dietary restrictions. This intimate-sized group experience creates lifelong memories while exploring some of the greatest places in California and the Southwest.
