About Certificate in International Business Program
Study international business in Paris, one of Europe's premier business hubs, through AIFS Abroad's semester program at Paris School of Business (PSB). You'll earn up to 15 U.S. semester credits by completing three mandatory courses—International Finance, International Marketing, and International Business—plus two electives from an extensive list covering luxury management, strategic management, intercultural communication, and more. All instruction is in English, so no prior French language experience is required, though you have the option to take French for Beginners if you'd like to develop conversational skills during your time in France.
This program is designed for students who want to deepen their understanding of global business operations and develop practical skills in an international context. You'll engage with case studies, team projects, and simulation games that bring real-world business challenges to life. Courses like Doing Business in Europe and International Strategic Management give you frameworks for analyzing global markets and competitive environments, while luxury-focused courses like Luxury Brand Management and Marketing Applied to Luxury capitalize on Paris's position as a center of high-end commerce and design.
You'll experience Paris not just as a tourist but as a student integrated into the PSB academic community. The city itself becomes part of your learning—a living laboratory for understanding European business culture, luxury markets, and international trade. Whether you're attending lectures near the Seine or applying marketing concepts to flagship stores in the 8th arrondissement, you'll be immersed in one of the world's most influential business and cultural capitals.
Upon completion, you'll receive an official Certificate and a Report Card from PSB showing your grades on a French 20-point scale. Your credits will transfer back to your home institution through the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), and AIFS Abroad will handle the transcription process. You must have completed at least one year of university study and meet a minimum GPA requirement to be eligible. This semester abroad offers a transformative blend of rigorous business education and cultural immersion in Paris.
