About Discover Europe: Madrid, Barcelona & Paris School Trip Program
Experience three of Europe's most vibrant cities on this 10-day cultural immersion program designed for high school students. You'll start in Madrid, the regal capital home to the Spanish Royal Family and world-class museums like the Reina Sofía and Prado, where you'll explore royal palaces, relax in iconic parks with rowboat rides, and sample authentic Spanish tapas and churros con chocolate. From there, you'll take the high-speed AVE train to Barcelona, where you'll learn to make paella and tapas from local chefs, marvel at Antoní Gaudí's architectural masterpieces including the whimsical Parc Güell and the still-under-construction Sagrada Familia, and bike along the famous Barceloneta Beach. Finally, you'll fly to Paris, the City of Light, where you'll climb the Eiffel Tower, explore world-renowned museums like the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre, pedal through hidden Parisian alleys on a guided bike tour, and cap off the journey with a twilight cruise down the Seine and upscale farewell dinner.
Travel For Teens' mission is to teach students to be travelers, not tourists, and this program embodies that philosophy through locally owned accommodations in city centers, authentic meals at charming neighborhood restaurants, and expert local guides who bring each destination to life. Language students will have abundant opportunities to practice French and Spanish in real-world contexts, discovering that the classroom vocabulary and grammar they've studied has genuine, exciting applications. The itinerary balances structured activities—museum tours led by art historians, cooking classes, and visits to iconic landmarks—with free time for personal exploration, souvenir shopping, and discovering your own favorite hidden gems.
You'll be supported throughout by a dedicated Trip Director who travels with your group for the full duration, ensuring a stress-free experience with 24/7 support for any surprises. The program never combines groups, meaning your trip is exclusively yours with as few as six paying students plus a teacher (who travels free). You'll receive frequent personal email updates and hundreds of photos from staff, so families back home can follow along on your journey. This program is ideal for students interested in art, geography, history, and language, offering a deep understanding of European cultures and their real-world applications that will create memories to last a lifetime.
