About Full Time Internship Dublin Program
Spend your fall semester interning in Dublin, Ireland's vibrant and historic capital city—a unique blend of ancient castles and modern architecture that offers exceptional opportunities for professional growth. This 12-week full-time internship program runs from September 5 to November 28, 2026, and places you in a guaranteed internship position within your chosen career field, whether that's accounting, law, marketing, journalism, web design, or one of 20+ other sectors. Dublin is very much an international city bustling with multinational companies and entrepreneurial ventures, making it an ideal destination to gain real-world professional experience while immersed in Irish culture.
You'll work with AIFS Abroad's experienced enrollment team to secure a placement that aligns with your skills, career goals, and professional aspirations. The placement process is personalized: the team assesses your academic background, language proficiency, and maturity level, then matches you with top-tier employers. Before your placement is finalized, you'll interview with your prospective manager via phone or Zoom. Once in Dublin, on-site Location Coordinators provide ongoing support and coaching to help you succeed in your internship and make the most of your professional development.
The program includes comprehensive support services designed to help you thrive academically and personally. You'll stay in a student residence apartment featuring a single room, en-suite bathroom, shared living and dining areas, a full kitchen, and 24/7 security—all with included internet access. The inclusive program fee of $11,990 covers housing, a 3-credit International Internship course (optional), the award-winning Global Career Readiness Program (including CliftonStrengthsFinder assessment and one-on-one coaching), airport transfers, and access to AIFS Abroad's extensive network of cultural activities and day trips.
Beyond the internship itself, you'll experience Ireland's rich cultural heritage through included excursions to the stunning Cliffs of Moher and Belfast, along with guided city tours, live music at traditional pubs, music and art festivals, and other social events led by local AIFS staff. Your Location Coordinator, Greta Bourke—herself a Dublin native with experience living and working across multiple continents—is passionate about helping interns discover the best in themselves through cultural immersion. Dublin's mild weather, excellent public transportation, and proximity to the rest of Europe make it an ideal base for weekend travel during your internship.
This program is open to high school graduates through graduate students with no stated minimum GPA requirement. Whether you're a first-time traveler or seasoned international student, an internship in Dublin offers professional credibility, cultural enrichment, and the chance to build your career network in a thriving international business hub. Optional academic credit can be earned through Fairfield University (our School of Record), allowing you to apply credits toward your home institution's graduation requirements. AIFS Abroad also offers optional round-trip flights from 25 U.S. gateways and comprehensive visa assistance, making logistics seamless so you can focus on your internship experience.
