About Full Time Internship | Paris Program
Spend a transformative spring semester interning in Paris, one of Europe's most vibrant and culturally rich cities. This 12-week full-time internship program (January 20 – April 17, 2027) places you in a professional role aligned with your career interests while you experience the elegance, art, and innovation that make Paris a global center for business, fashion, and culture. You'll work a standard French 35-hour workweek, leaving ample time to explore the city and travel throughout Europe.
AIFS Abroad guarantees your internship placement in one of your approved career fields—whether that's fashion business, marketing, communications, graphic design, event planning, or another field. The program's dedicated placement team uses a personalized, one-on-one approach to understand your skills, ambitions, and work style, then matches you with top-tier international companies. You'll interview with your manager before placement confirmation, and on-site Location Coordinators will support you with check-ins and coaching throughout your placement.
Beyond the internship itself, you'll access AIFS Abroad's award-winning Global Career Readiness Program, which combines the CliftonStrengthsFinder assessment, one-on-one career coaching, interview preparation, and networking events to connect your academic knowledge with professional growth. You can earn 3 credits toward your degree through an International Internship course (with additional credit-bearing courses available for an extra fee), making this experience valuable whether your university requires internship credit or not.
Your housing is a shared student residence or apartment with internet included, located within walking distance of Paris's excellent Metro, RER, Tram, and Bus systems. The program fee of $11,990 covers housing, guaranteed internship placement, optional academic credit, a calendar of cultural and social activities, day trips to iconic sites like the Palace of Versailles and Claude Monet's gardens, 24/7 emergency support, and comprehensive insurance. You'll also receive a complimentary Eurail Global Pass (valued at ~$500) to explore Europe during your free time.
Your experience extends beyond work hours: participate in weekly cultural activities including guided Paris tours, Seine river cruises, cheese and wine tastings, macaron workshops, music festivals, and visits to historic landmarks. Optional excursions to Normandy and Brittany (estimated $345) deepen your understanding of French history and culture. The program is open to first-year through graduate students with a minimum GPA requirement (specific GPA not listed on page); French language skills are useful but not required, as English-speaking placements are available. Apply by November 1, 2026, for the Spring 2027 session—early applications by October 1 are encouraged for better placement options in competitive career fields.
