You'll work in a dynamic French professional environment where the standard work week is just 35 hours—giving you time to explore the City of Light and travel across Europe.

The AIFS Abroad placement team, with over 20 years of experience, will work with you one-on-one to understand your skills, career goals, and professional expectations. They'll match you with top-tier international companies and guide you through a formal interview process before your placement is confirmed. Whether you speak French or not doesn't matter—placements are available for English speakers, though French language skills are valuable. Once you arrive, Location Coordinators provide ongoing support and coaching to help you maximize your internship experience.

Your program fee of $11,990 includes comprehensive support: guaranteed internship placement, shared student housing or apartment (with internet included), 24/7 emergency support and health insurance, airport transfers, and a cultural calendar packed with activities. You'll visit iconic sites like the Palace of Versailles and Claude Monet's house in Giverny, participate in cheese and wine tastings, macaron workshops, and guided Seine boat tours. Academic credit is optional but available: you can earn 3 credits through an International Internship course issued by Fairfield University (AIFS Abroad's School of Record), with additional courses available for an extra fee. This flexibility allows you to apply your internship toward graduation at universities that don't automatically grant credit for internships. Participants must be currently enrolled full-time university students (first year through graduate level) with no minimum GPA stated. An optional travel package offers round-trip flights from 25 U.S. gateways (ranging from $1,680–$1,960 depending on departure city) and airport transfers. You'll also receive a FREE Eurail Global Pass (valued near $500) to explore Europe during your free time.
