About Full Time Internship Prague Program
Experience a transformative semester interning in Prague, one of Europe's most vibrant cultural and professional hubs. This 12-week full-time internship program, running from January 25 to April 17, 2027, places you in a guaranteed position within your chosen career field in a city known as a global center for finance, fashion, technology, marketing, and media. You'll work alongside professionals in top-tier international companies while living in a student residence hall with other AIFS Abroad and international students, giving you both professional development and authentic cultural immersion.
As an intern in Prague, you'll gain real-world professional experience tailored to your career goals and academic background. AIFS Abroad's experienced placement team conducts a personalized 1-on-1 assessment of your skills, talents, career aspirations, and language proficiency to match you with the right employer. Before your placement is confirmed, you'll interview with your future manager via phone or Zoom, ensuring a strong fit. Career fields available include Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Finance, Graphic Design, Architecture, Communications, and more—with 20+ years of AIFS history matching talented interns with quality organizations.
Beyond your internship, you'll participate in an award-winning Global Career Readiness Program featuring the CliftonStrengthsFinder assessment, one-on-one career coaching, interview preparation, and on-site networking events. This comprehensive approach connects your academic knowledge with professional ambitions, preparing you not just for your current role but for long-term career success. You'll also earn an optional 3-credit International Internship course through Fairfield University, allowing you to access financial aid and gain credits toward graduation—essential if your home institution requires credit for internships.
Prague itself is your classroom for cultural learning. The program includes a 2-day Moravia excursion (wine country, castles, museums, and cave complexes), optional 3-day trips to Kraków and Auschwitz-Birkenau, and a 2-day Czech spa town experience. Weekly cultural activities—welcome dinners, walking tours of Old Town and Charles Bridge, Prague Castle visits, ballet and concert performances, and volunteer opportunities—help you integrate into the vibrant local community. Your housing includes meals (European-style cold breakfast Monday-Friday), Wi-Fi, laundry, gym access, and 24-hour security, while on-site Location Coordinators provide ongoing support and mentorship throughout your stay.
The inclusive program fee of $9,990 covers guaranteed internship placement, housing, meals, cultural activities, excursions, 24/7 emergency support, comprehensive insurance, airport transfers, carbon offsetting for flights, and access to the alumni network. Optional add-ons include round-trip flights from 25 U.S. gateways ($1,820–$2,240 depending on your departure city) and additional academic courses. Early applications are encouraged as Prague internships are in high demand. Rolling admissions means acceptance confirmation within 2 business days. This program is open to first-year through graduate students with no minimum GPA stated, though visa requirements may apply.
