About Full Time Internship | Prague Program
This 12-week full-time internship program in Prague offers you a guaranteed placement in one of 20+ career fields within a global center of finance, fashion, technology, marketing, and media. You'll work professionally while living in the heart of Europe's "City of a Hundred Spires," gaining real-world experience and building your international career network.
Prague is the perfect base for your internship adventure. The city combines rich medieval history—from the Prague Castle (the world's largest) to the famous Astronomical Clock—with a vibrant, modern professional landscape. With easy access to the rest of Europe, you can explore neighboring countries on weekends while establishing yourself in the workplace during the week. The cost of living is reasonable, and the city offers limitless cultural experiences, from traditional Czech restaurants to jazz concerts and historic sites.
Your placement process is personalized: AIFS Abroad's enrollment team reviews your application, assesses your skills and career goals, and matches you with a dynamic employer. You'll interview with your future manager before the placement is confirmed, ensuring a strong fit. Once you arrive, on-site Location Coordinators provide ongoing support, check-ins, and career coaching to help you maximize your professional growth. The program includes AIFS Abroad's award-winning Global Career Readiness Program, featuring the CliftonStrengthsFinder assessment, one-on-one coaching, interview preparation, and networking events.
Your housing is secure: you'll live in a student residence hall with other AIFS Abroad and international students, featuring shared rooms, full kitchens, 24-hour security, laundry, and gym facilities. Wi-Fi and European-style cold breakfast (Monday–Friday) are included. You're not allowed to arrange your own housing due to visa regulations, but AIFS Abroad handles this seamlessly.
The program includes comprehensive support: 24/7 emergency assistance, health insurance, airport transfers, and a 2-day included excursion to Moravia (wine country, castles, museums). Optional excursions to Kraków and Auschwitz-Birkenau ($375) or the Czech spa town of Karlovy Vary ($275) deepen your cultural understanding. Cultural activities—walking tours, performances, traditional dinners, and volunteer opportunities—are woven throughout your stay.
You can earn 3 credits through an International Internship course (issued by Fairfield University), with additional courses available for a fee, making this program suitable whether your university requires internship credit or not. With rolling admissions and a June 1 deadline, early applications are encouraged as Prague internships are increasingly competitive. Your program fee of $9,990 is inclusive and guaranteed; optional round-trip flights from 25 U.S. cities range from $1,820–$2,240.
