About Greece Island Hopping Program
Experience the magic of ancient Greece and the stunning Mediterranean islands on this 13-day summer adventure designed for high school students. You'll travel through four iconic Greek destinations—Athens, Paros, Naxos, and Santorini—immersing yourself in one of the world's most historically rich and visually breathtaking regions. This program brings Greek culture to life through hands-on experiences like a private cooking lesson where you'll learn to prepare authentic Greek specialties, an authentic Greek coffee tasting at a local shop, and guided walks through charming historical villages where you can interact with hospitable locals passionate about sharing their heritage.
Your journey begins in Athens, where you'll climb the Acropolis to stand before the magnificent Parthenon, one of the world's most spectacular ancient ruins. You'll wander through the historic Plaka district, visit the Ancient Agora where democracy was born, and explore lively markets filled with fresh food and handmade goods. From there, you'll travel by ferry across turquoise Mediterranean waters to Paros, an island famous since ancient times for its pristine white marble. Here you'll hike the historical Byzantine road, swim in crystal-clear waters, and enjoy beach volleyball and water activities.
Next, you'll discover Naxos, the largest island in the Cyclades and the legendary birthplace of Zeus, where you can explore endless golden sand dunes and venture to the untouched Small Cyclades islands—a traveler's secret with some of the most stunning turquoise waters in the Aegean. Your adventure culminates in Santorini, one of the world's premier luxury destinations, where you'll experience dramatic black sand beaches, iconic whitewashed homes with blue domes, and world-famous sunsets from the best vantage points.
Throughout the program, you'll stay in centrally located, safe, and well-supervised accommodations—smaller, family-run hotels rather than impersonal chains, where you'll be 2-4 per room. The program includes all ground transportation, accommodation, chaperones and guides, program-related activities and admissions, taxes, tips, and all breakfasts and dinners featuring authentic Mediterranean cuisine. You'll taste classic Greek salads with locally-made feta, fresh grilled meats and seafood, and world-renowned baklava, understanding firsthand why the Mediterranean diet is considered one of the world's healthiest. Optional activities like scuba diving and private boat tours with hidden beach stops allow you to customize your experience. This is a completely unique cultural immersion where you'll eat, stay, and travel like a local, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
