About Study Abroad in Antibes (French Riviera) – SKEMA Business School Spring Semester Program

Spend your spring semester studying business on the stunning French Riviera while earning up to 15 U.S. credits at SKEMA Business School, a leading institution with dual EQUIS and AACSB accreditation. Located at the Sophia Antipolis campus in Valbonne, just above Antibes, SKEMA offers English-taught courses across diverse business disciplines—including finance, economics, marketing, ethics, human resources, international relations, mathematics, law, and the luxury industry—designed to prepare you for international careers and professional excellence. You'll join French and international peers in small, discussion-focused classes that emphasize group work, team-based projects, and presentations, all led by approachable faculty who prioritize active learning.

Beyond the classroom, you'll experience authentic cultural immersion in one of Europe's most inspiring destinations. The French Riviera, nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps, offers unparalleled natural beauty and cultural richness. You can choose to live in a beachfront residence in the seaside resort of Juan-le-Pins with your own air-conditioned studio, kitchen, and balcony, or opt for a carefully vetted French homestay where daily breakfast and language practice deepen your connection to French life. Internet access is included in all housing, and AIFS Abroad provides a bus pass for your 35–45 minute commute to campus.

Your program fee covers far more than tuition: you'll enjoy included day trips and excursions to Monaco (visiting the Oceanographic Museum and the cathedral where Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly were married), the medieval perfume capital of Grasse with a perfume-making lesson, the island fortress of Île Sainte-Marguerite, and the Picasso Museum in Antibes itself. A full calendar of cultural activities, wine and cheese tastings, museum visits, and social events—many led by expert local staff—gives you both iconic tourist experiences and authentic insider perspectives on French culture. You'll also have access to outdoor recreation year-round: swimming and sailing along the Mediterranean, team sports, hiking in the nearby Esteral mountains, and even skiing at Isola, just two hours away.

Support throughout your journey is comprehensive. AIFS Abroad assigns a dedicated Program Coordinator to answer questions, introduce you to the community, and facilitate communication with the university. You'll receive 24/7 emergency support, health insurance, and pre-departure and orientation services to help you thrive. Optional add-ons include round-trip flights from 25 U.S. gateways with airport transfers, and you'll also receive a free Eurail Global Pass (valued near $500) to explore Europe beyond the Riviera. Optional French language courses at all levels are available for those who want to develop language skills while studying business.

This program is open to juniors and seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA (though competitive entry is recommended for those with 2.75–2.99 GPAs). You'll earn 12–15 U.S. credits (24–30 ECTS), with transcripts issued directly by SKEMA. Early application is strongly encouraged, as course availability is limited and entry is competitive. Whether you're pursuing finance, marketing, international business, or luxury management, this semester on the French Riviera combines rigorous business education with transformative cultural experience and unmatched European travel opportunities.
