About Study Abroad in Paris, France - Paris School of Business Program
Spend a transformative semester in Paris, one of the world's most iconic cities, while earning up to 15 semester credits through the AACSB-accredited Paris School of Business (PSB). This program invites you to study business in a truly global context, with three specialized certificate options—International Business, Management, and Luxury—all taught entirely in English by experienced faculty in a multicultural learning environment.
You'll be based in the 5th district near the Latin Quarter and historic downtown Paris, giving you immediate access to the city's cultural and architectural treasures while attending classes at a campus that hosts over 1,000 international students annually. Each certificate track is carefully designed to leverage Paris's unique position: as a global business capital for the International Business track, as the world's luxury goods epicenter for the Luxury track, and as an innovation hub for the Management track. Whether you're taking courses in International Finance, Luxury Brand Management, or Operations Management, you'll engage with real-world case studies and industry insights that bring classroom learning to life.
Beyond academics, your semester includes comprehensive cultural immersion. You'll stay in either a Parisian homestay (where you'll enjoy daily breakfast and one meal weekly, plus kitchen access for evening cooking) or an optional student apartment with fellow AIFS participants. The program fee covers curated excursions and cultural activities—from half-day trips to the Palace of Versailles and Monet's gardens to visits to world-class museums like the Rodin, Picasso, and Orangerie museums, plus walking tours through iconic neighborhoods like Marais and Montmartre. Optional excursions, such as a 2-day journey to Normandy and Brittany exploring D-Day sites and Mont Saint-Michel, deepen your historical and cultural understanding of France.
AIFS Abroad provides extensive support throughout your experience: a dedicated on-site Program Director (Jane Downs, a French and British national with deep Paris expertise), 24/7 emergency support, comprehensive health insurance, and professional development tools including the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment and access to the alumni network. The program handles visa guidance and offers optional round-trip flights from 25 U.S. cities with airport transfers. You'll navigate Paris using its world-renowned Metro system, typically commuting 30-45 minutes between your housing and campus—a normal and manageable experience that connects you to the rhythm of Parisian life.
This program is ideal for sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a minimum 2.8 GPA who have completed at least one year of university study. No prior French language experience is required, though beginner French is available as an elective. Upon completion, you'll receive a certificate from PSB and an official grade report recognized by your home institution, positioning you to leverage this international credential in your future career while having lived and studied in one of the world's most culturally rich and business-forward cities.
