About Study + Internship in Paris, France Spring Program
Experience transformative semester or year-long study abroad in Paris, one of the world's most culturally rich and historically significant cities. You'll study at the American Business College of Paris (ABCParis), a renowned international business school welcoming students from over 80 countries, creating a truly multicultural learning environment that mirrors the global economy you'll enter after graduation.
Your academic experience centers on selecting up to five 3-credit courses from an extensive catalog, with a course load between 12-15 credits per semester. All instruction is in English, though French language courses from elementary to advanced levels are available if you want to improve your French—no prior experience required. The curriculum emphasizes interactive, practical learning through group work, case studies, corporate visits, and guest lectures. ABCParis's Bachelor of Business Administration is accredited in the U.S. by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education and recognized by the French government, ensuring your credits transfer seamlessly.
Your Paris experience extends far beyond the classroom. You'll live in a Parisian homestay or optional student apartment, giving you authentic immersion in French daily life. Housing includes daily breakfast plus one meal weekly in your homestay, kitchen access for evening meals, and internet throughout. The program fee covers tuition, housing, meals, and an extensive cultural calendar featuring weekly activities and social events led by expert local staff who share both famous landmarks and hidden gems—from the Palace of Versailles and Monet's gardens to lesser-known museums, theaters, ballet performances, and walking tours through iconic districts like Montmartre.
Included excursions take you beyond Paris to deepen your understanding of France's history and culture. The half-day trip to the magnificent Palace of Versailles is included in your program fee. Optional 2-day excursions to Normandy and Brittany immerse you in D-Day sites, Mont Saint-Michel, and charming coastal towns—all with transportation, accommodations, and entrance fees covered. Additional optional experiences include cooking classes that celebrate Paris's world-renowned culinary tradition.
Comprehensive support surrounds you throughout your semester. A dedicated AIFS Abroad Program Director provides academic advising, community integration, and personal guidance. You'll receive 24/7 emergency support and comprehensive health insurance. Pre-departure services help you prepare, orientation eases your transition, and upon-return services help integrate your experience. You'll also access the renowned Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment for personal development and an alumni network connecting you with AIFS graduates globally. Optional volunteer placements with organizations like Les Restos du Coeur and Emmaüs allow you to contribute to Parisian communities while building meaningful connections.
Whether you're pursuing business, humanities, international relations, fashion, art history, or any of the 30+ supported academic interests, this program prepares you for today's global economy while immersing you in the art, architecture, fashion, cuisine, and culture that have made Paris legendary for centuries.
